The ECERDC is inviting companies to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to commercially develop, operate and manage an integrated pineapple plantation project in Rompin, Pahang.
Among the components that will be developed, operated and managed are pineapple nursery farm, pineapple cultivation for commercial sales, operation of collection, packaging & processing centre (CPPC), animal feed production based on pineapple waste, integrated cattle feedlot farming, post harvest training program, product marketing and promotions and contract farming with out-growers.
Companies interested in participating in the project may obtain the EOI document without charge at ECERDC offices beginning 24 November 2009.
